LiveClip roadmap

A short view of what we may explore after the MVP.

What comes after the MVP

For now, LiveClip focuses on finding candidates from a VOD and exporting from the original file.

External integrations and posting support will be validated after the MVP. Auto-publishing is not the goal.

About this app

What we will and will not add

We only add what speeds up your decisions.

Directions to consider

  • Improve candidate accuracy and explainability
  • Make context review faster
  • Add clearer short-form decision signals
  • Make handoff to editing software easier
  • Validate learning from accept/reject behavior

Not doing / handle carefully

  • Replacing full editing software
  • Heavy caption styling or effects
  • Zoom, BGM, or sound-effect editing
  • Social media operations outsourcing
  • Publishing flows that skip your review

Features under consideration

Not everything listed here will be built. We will validate the clearest ideas first.

Stronger highlight detection

Intent

Use volume, speech density, and context to miss fewer candidates.

Guardrail

Keep the reason visible.

Short-form suitability score

Intent

Review the opening, payoff, and reaction clarity.

Guardrail

Do not make the number the goal.

Suggested trim ranges and adjustment

Intent

Reduce uncertainty about where to start and end.

Guardrail

Do not treat the suggestion as final.

Learn from accept/reject

Intent

Learn what each user tends to keep and improve candidates.

Guardrail

Do not overfit and hide new strengths.

Title and opening hook ideas

Intent

Make it easier to write how a clip should be presented.

Guardrail

Avoid clickbait that breaks your tone.

Timestamp / CSV / SRT exports

Intent

Make handoff to Premiere, DaVinci, Vrew, and similar tools easier.

Guardrail

Do not support formats endlessly.

Chat spike integration

Intent

Use viewer reactions as an auxiliary signal.

Guardrail

Do not force it on streams with little chat.

How we prioritize

Before making editing faster, we make the right moments easier to find.
  • Does it reduce uncertainty in candidate search?
  • Does it speed up users' decisions?
  • Does it hand off well to existing editing tools?
  • Does it improve learning for Japanese livestreams?
